Karla McAdam is Director of the Illinois New Teacher Collaborative
Karla McAdam is a renewed NBCT with over 29 years in education. She is a state and national consultant with experience engaging educators in collaborative work designed to deepen their impact on all students. Combined with her years in the classroom, work as a district school improvement coordinator, site director for the Illinois Network to Transform Teaching, and involvement with local, state, and national agencies, Karla communicates at all levels within the education field to advocate for professional learning and the improved results educators seek. Currently, Karla serves as the director for the Illinois New Teacher Collaborative in partnership with the University of Illinois College of Education.
